I first discovered face massage in 2019 and trained with Yakov Gershkovich in 2021.
At first, I was drawn to it for the physical benefits. Watching tension release and a face soften and brighten felt like genuine magic.
Then I lost my dad to suicide, and everything changed.
My nervous system was fried. I was grieving and wired at the same time, exhausted but unable to switch off, numb in some moments and completely overwhelmed in others. I was, in every sense, at rock bottom.
In the middle of that, face massage became something I turned to without even fully understanding why. A few minutes of undivided attention and presence for myself, at a time when I had nothing left to give anywhere else. It didn't take the grief away. But it gave me somewhere to land. A place my nervous system could finally exhale, even if just for a few minutes a day.
Slowly, I noticed my face changing alongside everything else. The tension I'd been holding began to soften. My expression looked less wired, less worn down. I realised my face had been reflecting exactly what I was carrying inside, and that releasing it in one direction was helping me release it in the other too.
Working with clients through this same period, I saw the same pattern everywhere. Women didn't come to me because their lives were falling apart. Most came wanting to look less tired, more like themselves. But almost all of them were carrying something. A hard year. A big change. A version of overwhelm they'd stopped noticing because they'd been living inside it for so long.
That's when I understood something powerful: when we soften the outside, we create space for calm on the inside.
That is why I created Fresh Face Formula. Not just as a facial ritual, but as a place where you can give yourself the undivided attention and presence you've probably been giving everyone else. A place where whatever you're carrying, whether it's something as significant as mine was or something quieter, a feeling of just not being yourself, has somewhere to land
Because true radiance doesn't come from changing who you are. It comes from releasing what you have been carrying.
